Below is our Operation budget for the orphanage in Petionville, Haiti.

Monthly Budget: $5,830
FOOD
Monthly Cost: $2,550
This cost covers 3 nutritious meals a day (drinks included), for 17 children. This total is based on a total of $5 /per day /per child.
MEDICAL CARE
Monthly Cost: $200
This cost covers all basic
first aid needs and check-ups for each child.
BASIC NEEDS
Monthly Cost: $200
This cost covers clothing, toiletries and other miscellaneous basic needs.
EDUCATION
Annual Cost: $480
Education is not free in Haiti. This cost covers each child's annual tuition ($350/child) and annual school supplies ($130/child).
EMERGENCY
Monthly Cost: $150
This money is put into a savings account in case of any emergency. These funds are used for unexpected expenses.
COOKS
Monthly Cost: $500
This cost covers the monthly salary of both cooks. Lyndia (left) and Yvette (right) cook all the meals for the children. There is a cook present at the orphanage everyday.
NURSE
Monthly Cost: $300
This cost covers the monthly salary of the orphanage nurse, Anastania. She comes to the orphanage 3 times a week (8 hrs/day), or more if a child is sick.
CARETAKERS
Monthly Cost: $400
This cost covers the salary of the orphanage caretakers, Benitha and Mirlene. These women are absolutely wonderful with the children and spend 8-12 hrs a day caring for them.
TEACHER
Monthly Cost: $250
This cost covers the orphanage teacher/translator, Oldor's, salary. He is wonderful at his job, but also genuinely loves all the kids.
HOUSE FAMILY
Monthly Cost: $300
This cost covers the salary for this family. They live with the children and help with all aspects of the orphanage. They are the "on the ground" leaders of the vision.
SOCIAL WORKER
Monthly Cost: $300
This cost covers the salary of the social worker. He keeps all of the paperwork up to date, and monitors the children's health and well-being.
